HOT TOPICS: Chris Brown ((FED UP)) Tweets he may RETIRE

Less than 24 hours after being booked and released
in connection with a hit-and-run incident, Chris Brown tweeted on Tuesday that he’s fed up and and might retire from music soon.

“Don’t worry mainstream America. After this X album, it’ll probably be my last album,” the troubled singer wrote. ”Being famous is amazing when it’s for your music and talent. I’m tired of being famous for a mistake I made when i was 18. I’m cool and over it!”

The singer posted the comment a day after he spent less than an hour at the Van Nuys, California, jail on Monday. According to online records from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, Brown, 24, arrived at the Van Nuys jail at 2:40 p.m., was booked two minutes later and then released at 3:22 p.m. with no bail.

Chris Brown Still Working To Overcome His Past

If you’re wondering which “mistake” Chris is referring to, here’s a quick refresher: Chris assaulted then-girlfriend Rihanna on Feb. 8, 2009, a decision that nearly cost him everything. He released an apology video – ”Words cannot begin to express how sorry and saddened I am over what transpired,” he said — but for a large part of the public, it was too little too late.

In the years following, Chris gradually returned to the music scene, eventually achieving success with singles like 2012′s “Don’t Wake Me Up” and 2013′s “Fine China.”

He also actively worked on multiple charities, including one for domestic violence, through his Symphonic Love Foundation.

It seemed as though Chris was well on his way to regaining his reputation in Hollywood — so why drop out now?

It kind of sucks growing up in the music industry, because the world is watching you make the mistakes that everyone else probably makes,Its just the world doesn’t see theres.

Hopefully he finds the strength to keep on moving. I know its HARD sometimes you want to give up,mostly when you feel like the world is against you. Money definitely doesn’t buy happiness but, it gives you a good down payment.

Remember: STRENGTH doesn’t come from what you can do. It comes from OVERCOMING the things you once thought you couldn’t…
